Biography

Kurt Buchheim was wounded in the head near Gory, 22 km South from Witebsk, on February 21st, 1944 and died while on transport to a Hauptverbandplatz. He was buried on February 23rd, 1944 at the then War Cemetery Carkowo, 30 km South of Witebsk. His remains are missing since then.
