Memorial Food from Heaven

On the wall of the old town-hall in Vlaardingen is a plaque that reminds the people to the food droppings at the end of the Second World War. More than 22,000 people died, because of a shortage on food. More than 60 years later, Vlaardingen wants to say again: Thank you, thank you for coming!
