Memorial Bombing Victims St.-Louis Monastery

This memorial at the Roman-Catholic Cemetery commemorates 8 sisters and 22 children of the St.-Louis Monastery who were killed in the bombardment of 22 February 1944.

This remembrance stone, at the former grave of Jan van Hoof on the Roman Catholic Cemetery, commemorates the victims of the bombardment on 22 February 1944, or other war violence, who were buried on this cemetery.

This is the former grave of Jan van Hoof, who was buried here from 1945 to 1971. In 1971, he was brought to the plot of honour on Vredehof Cemetery.
