Memorial Operation Manna / Chowhound Rotterdam

The Memorial is erected in commemoration of the food droppings at the end of the Second World War in the western parts of Holland, called Operation Manna / Chowhound. 3600 tons of food was dropped for the people of Rotterdam, at a place nowadays known as the district of Nieuw-Terbregge.

The Memorial is placed on the noise barrier of national highway A20.
